2022-23 Willow Cutting & Bareroot Tree Season has arrived!
We offer the following cuttings & bareroot trees from December 1st, 2022 - April 15th, 2023.

Willow Cuttings
We have 3 main varieties we sell that we consider the best choice for those wanting an easy to grow, quick growing windbreak, informal hedge or shelter belt.
Osier (Salix viminalis)
Hoary Willow (Salix candida)
Dragon Willow (Salix udensis)
We sell these in packs of 100 for £20. The cuttings are 30cm & cut fresh to order. You may also choose to do a mixed pack of these three varieties. (Ie. 50x S. viminalis, 25x S. candida & 25x S. udensis) Full information on these varieties is found on the main plant list here.
*If you are looking to add even more ornamental interest to your planting, we can do 10% of your order to include a number of many other varieties we also grow into your pack. These may include varieties with colourful barks, delicate leaves & a variety of heights to add some more interest to your planting.
Willow Rods
We are offering 2.4 meter long willow rods (Salix viminalis) for constructing your own living willow structures. As I do not sell them as kits, you will need to plan out how many rods you will need for your project & get in touch. As an example, in the fedge photo below, approx. 12 rods are needed per meter of length & creates a fedge 1.5 meters high. There are some great sources online for inspiration on planting living willow domes, arbours, arches & fedges. We have a limited quantity of rods available & are only offered until January 2023.
Rods are 2.4 meters long & are £1.20 each.
We also can offer much larger & longer rods for big arches, please contact us about those if required.
Bareroot Trees
Downy Birch (Betula pubescens)

Both are 25-45cm seedlings ready to plant straight out during the dormant season. .75p each.

This season we are also offering soft fruit cuttings of the following types that are all simple to propagate from hardwood cuttings at home & a great way to expand your fruit collection. All are approx. 15cm long & are £1 each.

Great, evergreen, woodland garden edge plants supplying plenty of nutritious & edible leaves through every season & hold their own fine all throughout winter. Cuttings strike easily to propagate more plants any time of year. 2 cuttings for £5. Two different old varieties available pictured below.
Perennial Leek Bulbs
20 bulbs for £5. Ready to plant now. Will multiply your stock of these bulbs after one growing season. Just dig up the plants when they go dormant in late-summer - early autumm & separate the bulbs & replant.
